Refund and Returns Policy

Returns & Change of Mind

We accept eligible change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

• Unused and unwashed
• In their original condition
• Returned in their original packaging with tags attached, where applicable

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on items that have been used or washed.

Approved change-of-mind returns are eligible for an exchange or store credit.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

To request a return, please email hello@moonandbackcollective.com.au with your order number and reason for return. Once your return has been approved, we will provide instructions for returning your item.

Please do not return an item before contacting us.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care in packing every order, but if you receive an item that is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

Email hello@moonandbackcollective.com.au and include:

• Your order number
• A brief description of the issue
• Photos of the item, where applicable

We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement, repair or refund where appropriate.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method.

Please allow 5 to 10 business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund once it has been issued.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an eligible item for a different size or product, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.

All exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Pre-Orders

Some Moon & Back Collective pieces are available for pre-order.

Pre-order items require full payment at the time of purchase to reserve your item.

Estimated dispatch or arrival timeframes are provided on the product page. While we do our best to meet these estimates, delays can occasionally occur due to manufacturing, freight or shipping circumstances outside our control.

If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, your order may be shipped together once the pre-order item arrives unless separate shipping has been arranged.

If you have questions about your pre-order or would like to request a change or cancellation before dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist.

Once a pre-order has been dispatched, our standard returns policy applies.

Sale, Clearance & Legacy Items

Items marked Final Sale, Clearance or Legacy Sale are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, exchanges or store credit.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if an item is faulty or does not meet a consumer guarantee.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to update or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@moonandbackcollective.com.au.

We will always do our best to assist. However, once an order has been processed or dispatched, we may not be able to make changes or cancel the order.

Product Variations

Many of our products are made using cotton fabrics and printed textiles. Slight variations in colour, texture or print placement may occur between production batches and individual pieces.

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.

These small variations are considered part of the individual character of the fabric and product.

Product Use & Safety

Our products are designed for comfort, quality and everyday family living. Customers are responsible for ensuring products are used appropriately and safely.

When using bedding for infants and young children, we recommend following current Red Nose Australia safe sleep guidelines.
